Rose Load Boy Smells 2021

I reallllly like this. Wasn’t sure what to expect as I had never heard of the brand and grabbed it 50% off at Sephora… But this is a very fresh, creamy rose. A pink rose, tea rose vibes in a base of soft woods. Very much like Bvlgari Rose Goldea, vibrant and young, but with much more sandalwood. Rose Load just has this added depth, soft spices, that really take it the extra mile. I do also get the vintage rose soap feel but it isn’t dated at all. This really is a very multifaceted fragrance, especially for a rose forward scent. It’s kind of hard to describe even though at its core it is just simply woody rose sweetened by touches of fruit. Almost feels like it goes powdery in the dry down but no, there’s a lot of wood here.

Excellent scent bubble, might have to take it easy with this one actually. Longevity is impressive at around 8/10 hours, definitely outlasts my other rose perfumes. Layers really well with other roses too.

Have to add though, I HATE the bottle, or rather the lid. Why is it so huge? It looks ridiculous. It should not bother me as much as it does, and it really does…

Edit to add… While my husband doesn’t really have many opinions other than “that smells nice” when it comes to my ever growing fragrance collection, he immediately stated this one smells like pickles. I don’t get that at all, but now I’m hesitant to wear it as I have seen other reviews online mention this also…
