Not for everybody
This was a blind buy.
I had read so much about it and thought—why not? It can’t be that bad… and honestly, it’s not. But it is very strong.
The bottle experience is incredible—right from the unboxing, it gave me the feeling of a hungry vampire: dark, magnetic, and a little dangerous. The opening of the scent matches that vibe perfectly—intense and almost aggressive. I really wanted to love it, but I just can’t stand the violet note. It completely overpowers everything else and feels like it’s ripping my nose apart. Without it, this could’ve been such a beautiful gourmand: realistic chocolate, rich, high quality… but the violet ruins it for me.
That said, the performance is no joke. Longevity and sillage: 10/10. Even the cap smells amazing.
After a few hours, it does settle down—and then, finally, you can enjoy the presence and mystery of this creature. There's something magical in its drydown. But for me, the opening is too much.
