Now this is how to smell to prepare yourself for the summer! Mefisto wakes the senses with a lovely raw citrus, I assume from the bergamot; a pleasantly sour start. Within half an hour, someone must have freshly squeezed some lemons and grapefruits because the rawness is tuned down a bit with something juicy and a bit sweeter. It's also around this time the rose absolute gets louder than the citrus.
Longevity is below-average. Sillage is quite low to me. I tanned for an hour right after applying this but couldn't smell it around me, even with the breeze. I had to bring my wrist up to enjoy it. Skin scent before the hour was even up. My first time using it was better, more noticeable after two hours but still short-lived.
Aesthetically speaking, I would have assumed Mefisto to be an aquatic based on the bold blue bottle. Regardless, very calming, nice and masculine. A great scent but not worth the price tag.
