Italy
since 1888
Casamorati is an Italian perfume brand originally founded in 1888 in Bologna by Claudio Casamorati, who established the C. Casamorati Perfume Factory. The house gained international recognition in the late 19th and early 20th centuries for its fragrances and bath soaps and received several awards at national and international exhibitions. Among its admirers was Queen Margherita of Savoy, who reportedly presented the founder with a gold pin as a sign of appreciation.
The factory closed around the mid-20th century due to financial difficulties, and the fragrances disappeared from the market. The brand was later revived by Sergio Momo, founder of Xerjoff, who reintroduced Casamorati as a collection inspired by historical Italian perfumery. The modern Casamorati line references the artistic heritage of the Art Nouveau era and aims to recreate the style and traditions of the original perfume house.
