A little step further
I'm going to start this review by saying what seems obvious and I don't know why it should bother anyone, really: Yes, it is quite similar to the AdG Profondo or even the Parfum.
And now is when I tell you: yes, but.
If I have to compare it with the AdG mentioned and describe them, I have to do it by calling them: moderate. Moderate in duration, moderate in quality and moderate in projection.
This one, however, is a step further in almost everything.
The opening is quite similar, but this one goes a step further in terms of citrus, watery and ozonic notes, not as soft as its cousin Profondo. Being somewhat more refreshing and sophisticated than the AdG, especially in terms of ozonic. There we begin to notice that this buzzes quite a bit more, with the heat giving it that punch to wake it up and seeing that, the good thing, is that those mineral notes are more persistent and perceptible.
In those two hours of projection we have a rapid evolution such as citricOzonicAqueous metallicMineral.
As it dries down here is where you see more of that relationship with the Parfum and it is that with that mineral and metallic smell that will be there until the end, here, apart from a very clear tone of cypress AND ROSEMARY, it comes to accompany incense. Aromatic and fresh, none of those dense episcopal notes. All very resinous.
At this moment is when you notice that other step further and it is that it delivers 10 hours unlike the 8 just of its sister cousins.
It has one downside, which is why I said I went one step further in almost everything, and that is that it is quite a bit more alcoholic, which can remind us a bit of Cristasol, especially in the opening and its first 45 minutes.
Sport, summery, informal, it is one of those that you have for everything in summer and spring. More expensive price, 50ml for 66€ while the compared ones are 10€ less for the same amount. I wouldn't say it's a safe blind buy, but for what it costs, maybe you can resell it for the same if you don't end up liking it, although it's difficult not to like it because it's extremely pleasant.
In summary: What is already known with certain buts for better.
