The tamed cinnamon star with lemon bombardment
The brand "Distorted People" will probably mean nothing to too many people.
I got to know them by chance and have been a big fan of their fashion ever since.
The shirts above all fit perfectly and you can find everything from basic to special prints.
But I don't want to advertise the brand here, because on the other hand there are just as many things that bother me about Distorted People. Especially the poor connection to the customer.
Because when I found out that the brand was launching a perfume, I immediately applied for a listing here. At the same time, I sent a nice message to Munich to ask if I could have a sample.
A "no" would have been a "no", but there was no reply at all.
As an even smaller niche brand, this is definitely a signal that disappoints me.
Ignorance is sometimes the last straw...
But let's move on to the fragrance, it's the first fragrance from this even younger brand.
And I have very little to complain about here, the opposite is the case.
Noir succeeds in creating a high-quality, in my view outstandingly balanced composition.
With plum, cinnamon and vanilla, we can all imagine the gourmand-sweet direction the fragrance takes. But Noir does this in an extremely finely tuned way, without appearing too sweet, too cardboardy or even too overloaded.
The citrus fruits have been incorporated in an outstanding way, successfully interrupting the sweetness, especially in the first few hours. Again and again, the fresh notes flicker out between the cinnamon plum, which I really like.
The base of various woods also gives the fragrance a certain distinctive note away from the sweet structure. Soft and yet clearly recognizable. The heart note with patchouli is also sure to ground the fragrance slightly.
The fragrance is undoubtedly not for the height of summer, but with the cooler days of fall, it becomes very exciting.
It should delight all those who like cinnamon in a smaller dose.
Cinnamon often takes up an entire fragrance, but here it has been tamed and adequately used.
The fragrance strikes me as very high-quality, it lasts around 7 hours and projects passably well.
The bottle is a success and the sprayer in particular is great, as it atomizes very finely.
In conclusion, a successful fragrance, which is currently not really cheap at 89.99 euros, but still very affordable.
All that remains is the disappointment that there seems to be no need to answer friendly and enthusiastic messages...
