Mint certainly starts at the top and opens the show for this perfume, opens up pretty cold too. About an hour later, the mint goes and the creamy powdery Iris mixed with carrot comes through. I think the base notes give this a little bit of a synthetic touch, but it’s not necessarily off putting or rough in any way. It reminds me the slightest bit of a calmer and earthier version of Iris Malikhan, a hint of organic buttery sweetness but very subtle.
The longevity of this perfume is really good like the other DVN perfumes I have tried and projection can definitely be loud if you overspray. I think the cold mint here makes this summer appropriate, but also fitting for chilly days.
