I find this one to be the gentlest among the smoky Ensar numbers when considering the entire scent progression. It's fascinating how different scent perceptions can be. Anyone familiar with the continuum from EO Black to Woke Morisco - Moshpit Pavarotti will find this one quite satisfying, in my opinion. However, this might also eliminate the need to feel like you absolutely have to own it, as it's just old wine in slightly modified, new bottles.
Really interesting. Black Changho & EO Black, for example, weren't at all as tarry in a BBQ style for me. Not at all. They had a pleasant light smoke. I would even want to wear those. 😃 This one? Hell no... Definitely bulkier in my opinion.
Never has a Thai oud oil (Aroha Kyaku) apparently smelled so astonishingly similar to birch tar? With that typical smoky, bacon-like BBQ smoke aroma. Almost as if the Thai oud was secretly stretched with birch tar oil or simply added to this blend (?!). Plus, with the other ouds & sandalwood, it’s balsamic & leathery. A bit of glue & wax in between. It’s definitely a rough, somewhat clunky Ensar, but birch tar aroma is just not a pleasant scent for me. It takes me back to German BBQ parties, like other birch tar-heavy fragrances such as Hiram Green's Hyde. Honestly, it’s not something I want to smell. I prefer other types of smoke, like tea or incense. I found Black Changho or EO Black by Ensar, for example, very nice & pleasant. Here… it’s just too clumsily packed (half-hearted release flood?!). But I know there are people who prefer this kind of thing. I wish them lots of fun!

Even though the Thai Oud isn't listed here, the descriptions are very similar, and the name supports that. I'm a bit confused about the ingredients used. 🤔
No worries: you prefer other great houses. 😀
Sure, it’s a bit confusing, especially because of the Semi Bespoken releases.
Sounds lovely!
