Nomen est Omen
Upon the first spray, I thought of a wet dog’s fur; I’m currently wondering if it’s due to my batch. The opening was distinctly animalistic but also chemical and creamy. A little later, a sweet, floral note emerged. Then I presumably smelled the woody, caramel-like oud, which was very pleasant. I was already familiar with this scent from an oud oil, which was significantly cheaper. As the fragrance developed further, honey joined in, followed by something spicy. In the end, it smelled like pure soap, and the drydown reminded me again of soup herbs.
