Following in the footsteps of old fathers,
It doesn't resemble OG N掳1 that much,
the face is greener and more mineral,
most similar to Manipur.

It didn't convince you as much as it did me. But there's so much other great stuff to discover from the brand :-)

Yep, I can smell the light version here. Still, I find it very wearable for work because of that. 馃槄

This one doesn't come close to the powerful, dark, leathery Oud bomb of OG N掳1. The mineral amber note with the green Oud facets is very reminiscent of Manipur, but this one has even more Oud punch in the base. Siem Reap is a bit more citrusy and airy. Assam has more smoke, moss, and tobacco. I tested Assam and Sultani 1:1 today, with the EDP Vietnamese Exclusive featuring extra Vietnam Oud oil. Performance, sillage, and depth were much stronger in Assam. Overall, I've noticed with many remakes and flankers using SQ materials that the base of SQ amber smooths everything out, making it very mineral and resulting in a lot of sameness in the drydown. Maybe it will get better with time.
