This one is really great. I have to admit I have a weakness for patchouli-oud. I haven't come across anything "purple-fruity" yet. Black Changho, the spiritual successor, is just as brilliant. I would choose it over a Homeros and EO N°3 any day!
@Svezenkar Rose Oud is a very boring topic, and flowers in general aren't my thing. I often miss the twist (animalic edge or something fruity) like in Dixit's Hindi Tabac or the Oud. Ensar nailed it in the EdP original version, and the last PP managed to keep a mandarin going for a long time. I love that twist; the Oud is great too. It's so wearable. I haven't found a better one yet; most just have spices or animalic notes added. I'm open to suggestions! And yes, Homeros is the most beautiful oud-based perfume I've come across so far. I've tried a lot of artisans over the past year, and nothing has impressed me more! :)
Beautiful dark patch-oud!
Cfr was right, there’s something purple-fruity at the start, but I’d say it’s more liqueur-like and short-lived :)
Very balsamic & spicy-wrapped oud with earthy patch. There’s also a nutty and jungle-like (moist) vibe, which might come from the interplay of oud & patchouli.
Earthy-nutty & patch isn’t really for me, and I hope my autumn/winter Ensars will soon be NO3 & Homeros.
Thanks to Cfr for the opportunity to test!
@Svezenkar @Ropanski2020
The 3rd one is so sexy because of the mandarin 🙈 haha
