Also here: very well captured. I also think that the ml content of "Hindistan Kala" must be more than just 1ml if the "Hainan 2005" oil profile is as you described. Those rather dry woody, somewhat fermented fruity elements, with slightly sweet streaks, become more noticeable after about 4-5 hours and last until the end; I really like that. The amber blends it very DENSELY. The "EO N°1" base DNA comes through during the scent development, but really crystallizes towards the end (aside from a brief sequence in the opening). I'm going to wait a bit longer before I give my final assessment (the part is still maturing).
I think there are 3g of Hindistan Kala in it, but I don't have the description in front of me. Nevertheless, it's really well done and the higher Oud content makes it quite interesting, but my EO1 Sultani is enough for me. The price difference is just too huge to justify a purchase.
Regarding EO N°1: Sultani is different from Hainan 2005 but stays true to its DNA. At first, you can clearly notice Hindistan Kala, by far the strongest Indian oud I know, with its barnyard-cheese note. This is kept in check by a very strong ambergris tincture. Everything is softened by flowers. Alongside this, or rather rising up, is a smoke that comes off as dry and woody, the Hainan 2005 oil. A fine, elegant, and intoxicating Chinese oud. The scent isn't demanding for experienced noses, but Ensar has delivered a very BOLD signature here, showing what Artisan means.
