A Honey-Gingerbread Scent
Many thanks to Nick for the sample of "Musc Gardénia: Berke Khan | Ensar Oud / Oriscent" :-) In fact, today I find the scents from Ensar Oud surprisingly appealing, and none of them disappoint me, which has happened more than once before. The longevity is strong at around 12 hours, and the sillage is also impressive.
The top note begins with a lot of honey, pepper, resinous cypress, and green-herbaceous rosemary. In the heart note, a gingerbread with a honey glaze remains. Then floral hints of blue lotus, mimosa, frangipani, gardenias, and lily of the valley sneak in. The base has a rather subtle, pleasant, and finely animalic scent of oud. Sandalwood and musk nicely round it off with balsamic and sweet aromas. The honey is still discernible here.
Yes, this is a truly exciting scent that seems to smell better and more pleasant over time.
