Not better in any other way. The fruity notes are missing here. It has more spicy notes; the musk is significantly stronger and darker. It doesn't have much in common with Qi Nan.

Beautiful and sweet flowers in it. The oud varieties develop a lovely woody, resinous scent with a hint of smoke. Much darker and with a lot more oud than TGB. A fantastic fragrance from the Musc Gardénia line.
