The fog enveloped us tightly from all sides and we walked in silence. Just moments ago, our minds had been sharp, the forest as fragrant as rosemary, but now a veil fell between the trees, like earthy weavings from the crowns, dark brown herbal pearls began to inhabit the air. Now one must not stray from the path. Then, a soft song broke through the fog, tender, lamenting tones, so wondrous, intoxicating blossoms, gentle and pure over warm, enticing trails. They whispered of sweet daffodils, the fresh flesh of tuberoses, and the lotus scent of the innocent. We stepped a few paces off the path, how mysterious the forest appeared to us here, how bright and bitter with camphor and herbs, lights buzzed above the earth in the damp brown smoke, the breath of spirits, we groped our way along decaying bark, the sky was waxy brown tobacco leaves and the moon was a veil of vanilla. Their song rang out for a long time, the scent lured me again and again, yet you held me fast by my strap, which smelled of soft leather. *** "Notes from Underground" is an unusually brown-spicy Ensar that begins with sharp green notes (pepper, rosemary), the rosemary evokes slight forest associations and quickly merges with the Vietnamese oud, which also seems to open with spicy-camphor notes, unfolding in the scent progression into smoky, herbal, earthy, and leathery nuances. In the heart, clear, pure lotus flowers, sweet daffodils, and fleshy, slightly chewy tuberoses emerge, increasingly disappearing behind a warm veil of soft, slightly animalistic musk, bright tobacco, beeswax, and dark vanilla, while the oud becomes increasingly dominant. The Song of the Underground seduces in moderate tones for a good eight hours.

... walking with you through the reality of our own mental images - through a mystical wonder forest ... guided by your magic - making scent paths come alive ... It was once again a 'wonderful' journey - rich in fragrance and 'melodious' :)) ... amazing how many pleasant facets Oud has ... because that would be my only opponent in fear ;) ...
Somehow it's interesting to think about the tobacco leaves and the vanilla veil... makes me think a bit of vanilla pudding... But it doesn't sound as nice as the veil... Again, a very lovely walk through the woods. 🏆
I wanted to go to a photo exhibition on the theme of Venus in Furs, and when I arrived, there was no one there because it turned out to be a false rumor. It was a boring wooden pub. However, the owner revealed that I had just missed the gentlemen & slaves regulars' table. They must have just set off for a trip to the places above ;-)
I'm just glad you were there in the fog, otherwise I would have ended up who knows where. But it turned out to be a melodious and fragrant excursion, definitely worthy of a bright and friendly Orpheus trophy!
Great pictures again, full of cobwebs and dark fireflies... and a little suggestiveness at the end :-)
Tell me: why do you actually have so many hits? (8.5 and up?) And don't you want to have them all? Best wishes from Carolin
With bright tobacco, beeswax, and dark vanilla, it gets quite pleasant towards the end in the woods! Still, I'm having a hard time with this one! Maybe I'll come to appreciate oud scents someday!
Light green sirens in Hades, as far as can be heard in the forest.
How I wish I could be out hunting again.
It really seems exciting in the underground.
I really like this text; it draws me into that forest... there sits Dostoevsky on a tree, warning Lindgren about the sirens of the Rumpelstiltskin... and the leather strap was from Tom Waits, adorned with midnight blue velvet... it was a very fine reading pleasure!!
.. From the mist came a soft song, delicately mournful notes, so wonderful... What a thunderous delight, what wonderfully woody lines again. So beautiful and captivating :D..
Astrid in Ensar's notes :) They whispered of sweet daffodils, the fresh flesh of tuberoses, and the lotus scent of the innocent.... Crazy and incredibly well written.
Wonderful journey...

I immediately have the song of the flowers in my head.
But most of all, by the beautiful storytelling :))
How I wish I could be out hunting again.
