After trying a few different iterations of this DNA I can quite confidently say this is my favorite.
It starts with creamy and slightly animalic iris clouds on top of a punch of maluku oud. Purple resins, light kinamic touches, and faint smokey residues round out this pleasant opening and run deep into the heart of the fragrance. The harmony of notes feels full bodied and well structured.
If you can get past the eye watering price tag this is an easy recommendation.
A perfect fragrance but for purple rain's older brother, Iris Ghalia Borneo Kynam, with its even higher price tag. If you have the funds, IG BK is hard to beat. The oud punch you get is even more impressive and complements the DNA on an even higher level. And it better do so for such an amount!
Still Purple rain Maluku excels in Ensar's wide catalogue and is one of my favorites to wear.
