Thelycheeus Epicò 2025

I love lychee scents and I am also a big fan of aromatic tea accords.

It’s nice that the rose in this fragrance stays more in the background and doesn’t take center stage, as it does in so many other lychee scents. A great change, which doesn’t mean that I don’t like the other classics, but sometimes it just has to be something different...

A harmonious mix of black tea and green tea, accompanied by the fruity sweetness of lychee and the slightly tart freshness of pomegranate. Cold green tea and zest of mandarin peel.

If, like me, you sometimes react sensitively to too much citrus, you can rest assured! The mandarin here is very soft and pleasing. In my opinion, it blends nicely with the pomegranate into a fruity, zesty symbiosis, without becoming too dominant.

It’s fresh, fruity, and summery. The longevity is surprisingly good for such a light and summery fragrance, lasting up to 8 hours.

A successful combination of tea and fruity notes.

Thelycheeus by Epicò is a fragrance that convinces me mainly through its beautiful harmony. The individual notes blend together pleasantly and feel very well balanced. I particularly like the lychee here, as it gives the fragrance a fruity, slightly exotic freshness without coming across as too sweet or artificial. Especially in combination with the other notes, it creates a modern and very wearable overall impression for me.

However, what has somewhat disappointed me is the performance.

Unfortunately, Thelycheeus does not last particularly long on my skin, and the sillage is rather subdued. It's a shame because the scent character itself deserves significantly more projection. Especially at this price, I honestly expected more; overall, the fragrance feels too weak for me, and I don't want to have to reapply every 2 hours. Perhaps it also has to do with my skin.
