My Everyday Scent

When the essence fragrances entered the drugstore range, I was initially skeptical. essence is for me the typical teenage makeup brand, even though I myself own many products at 22. "The scents are probably more for 15-year-olds," I thought.

In fact, I don't like the others like "Like a day in a candy shop" or "Like a trip to New York" at all. However, "Like a first day in spring" completely surprised me: it is a typical spring scent, very fresh and also floral. The rose scent unfolds very strongly on my skin, as do the notes of citrus fruits, which give the fragrance a very fruity touch. However, I notice little of vanilla and sandalwood.

Personally, I love the combination of fresh and fruity, and the floral note doesn't bother me here, even though I am otherwise not a fan of overly floral scents. By now, "Like a first day in spring" has become one of my favorite everyday fragrances, as I don't have to use it sparingly due to the low price. The 10 ml bottle ran out relatively quickly for me, which is why I recently got the 50 ml.

One downside is unfortunately the longevity: after a few hours, there isn't much left of the perfume, which I think is to be expected in this price range.

I felt the same way; I didn't expect much from the scent either, tried it out, and was totally positively surprised.

The essence scents are really quite nice. I like **like a walk in the Summerrain** the best.
