It is a warm spring morning.
The air is clear and filled with ripe pears. I am sitting on a swing hanging from a pear tree, letting the surroundings wash over me. Everywhere, white blossoms are scattered by the gentle breeze.
Now and then, I catch a floral hint carried here from the adjacent flower field.
I pick a plump, green pear from a low-hanging branch and take a delicious bite. The sweet freshness unfolds in my mouth and caresses my palate.
Even after some time, the sweetness has not faded, but envelops me in its light veil.
