Happy New Year!
on amber earth.

A scent that I still need to learn to appreciate. Just a tiny bit of it, and it reveals many of its beautiful facets, which I like. But even a hint too much, or on clothing, becomes way too camphor-like for me... and somehow polish-like. I think I detect some cloves in the pepper. It's amazing how softly the flowers, including the daffodil, show themselves later on when you've only applied a mist. The patch is interwoven with amber resins, which I wish I could smell a bit more of. Myrrh and the like haven't revealed themselves to me yet, but maybe that will come. Perhaps this scent is just too cold at the moment.
There are minimal cola notes in the resins as well, but you really have to concentrate to notice them.
