My favourite of the Folkwinds releases so far and one of the most natural cherry-based-fragrances that I've ever tried.
Reminds me of a deep, dry, cherry port - a light hand on the sugar, but with that thick, almost resinous, compote-like cherry reduction. Poured into an oak barrel and left to steep, and served with a cigar on the side.
I'm not sure I'd call it a gourmand - it's just a touch too dry - but it is close. Would be a really lovely autumn fragrance!
