Dreaming in Oud is a great oud fragrance. After the initial, short lived opening, it quickly dries down into a woody oud scent. There is never a trace of a horse stable or cheesy odor. It immediately has that great oud scent. None of the other notes really stood out for me. Didn't get any rose at all. I think the other notes were blended well to form a nice, smooth base to the oud.
Dreaming in Oud would make a great intro to a stronger oud scent without any distractions of other notes and without any stinky opening. It gives you a real taste of oud unlike weaker so-called oud fragrances like Gucci Intense Oud or Polo Oud or 1 Million Golden Oud which has more leather than oud. On the other hand, it's not rough around the edges like Opus XIII Silver Oud, making it appealing to more people.
Longevity was quite good while projection and sillage was more moderate after about the first hour. Overall, a great fragrance that I look forward to adding to my collection.
