Dreaming in Tonka For The Scent Of It 2023

So first off, you have to obviously like tonka in perfume to enjoy Dreaming in Tonka since tonka is the most prominent note. Dreaming in Tonka opens with a little sharper scent, sorta of like tonka but a little nutty and subtly acidic or citrus-y. It quickly dries down to the most beautiful, prominent tonka scent. I didn't detect most of the other notes. Seemed to be fairly linear. To me, this is an ideal cold weather scent. It's warm, pleasant, inviting and smooth. The tonka is creamy with what seemed to be subtle touches of vanilla and mild coffee with a splash of half & half. The scent leans masculine but a woman could definitely pull it off.

Performance is very good. I'm going on almost 10 hours and am getting strong whiffs without moving around. Projection was strong for about the first 2 hours and then pulling back to a closer scent bubble. Great fragrance, especially for cooler or cold weather and cuddling with a loved one by the fire place.
