Sad, dignified, reverent... those come to mind as descriptions. I can't imagine wanting to smell like that, but the fragrance certainly captures the mood well.
The scent is made for eleven deceased members of Freddie's family. That's why there are eleven candles. The fragrances are olfactory memories of Freddie. I like them!… ;)
Unfortunately, it's just perfect for such occasions. And you're feeling the same way as I am. I've lost a lot of people around me this year too. I'm really sorry to hear that..!
It's definitely challenging, especially because of the emotional background. More of an atmosphere than a perfume. A bit grave-like, and you really have to like that floral hairspray note. But the concept is well executed..!
When it comes to hairspray, I think it depends on the brand and the decade. A spray gold from the '80s smells different than a Taft from the 2010s. 😉😂😂
The perfume was made to pay homage to the deceased. The scent smells of extinguished candles, dying flowers lying on cool stones, cold incense, and distant stillness of thought. You have to be able to endure this fragrance because you are very close to the dead. Grief in a very beautiful form. Not sugar-coated,… mercilessly cold yet so beautiful. For someone who hasn’t lost anyone, this scent might seem pointless. For others, it might be a gateway, the shadow of a memory, or a connection? Beautifully done, Freddie,… I could see all the elves. Spray it on and wait to see who comes? In my case, it was my grandmother. Who will it be for you…??? A reference? … Messe de Minuite by Etro. Just more floral..!

Everything that ever remains is spiritual connection.
Your statement is beautiful.
It's beautiful in a very special way!
The scent really does something to you when you let yourself get into it...!
makes me worried
It probably wouldn't be my favorite scent.
I know it all too well...
Best regards…
You're handling it well!.. ;)
