Coconut, spicy, aquatic- in that order
08/21/25 - I wish I had more thoroughly read the reviews on Fragrantica as the listed notes don’t seem to account for one of the (seemingly) less common user experiences. Unfortunately, Parfumo doesn’t have as large of a user base. Therefore, less reviews to reference. I really don’t like coconut in fragrances (any hint of it makes me nauseous, unfortunately), and this, for me, seems to be predominantly coconut scented.
I love spicy scents and this definitely fits that profile. There’s also some background aquatic notes that I wish were more forward in the scent. When I sniffed it from the tip of the atomizer on opening my package, I was really hopeful about the aquatic scents coming through. It was (briefly, for me) really light, refreshing, white floral type of aquatic in profile. I let it cool down for a few hours, went for my test strip spray, and all I could smell was coconut predominately. Couldn’t even test it on my skin bc it made me nauseous after it developed on the strip for a few hours.
I’m going to give it a few weeks and re-test it. I hope that coconut facet isn’t as predominant for me by then. Funnily enough, the first few minutes after spraying, I didn’t entirely hate the coconut parts of this. That never happens for me. Most of the time, that’s a hard no as a scent. I was shocked that it kind of smelled like a young/green coconut instead of a creamy, developed coconut. I think I could have tolerated it if it stayed that way. The longer it developed, the more creamy, summer, classic coconut it became.
Like the title says, it’s predominantly coconut, spicy, and aquatic. From most predominant to least, imo. I wanted to love it, it’s for someone, as it stands currently- I’m not that person.
Will come back in a few weeks/months to see if it has changed in a way I (hopefully) like.
09/10- After letting the bottle sit for a few more weeks, on paper I can absolutely smell the notes intended and they’re stunning. Unfortunately, my skin chemistry does bring out that coconut note ): It’s so pretty, peppery, floral, and aquatic on paper and on others. On some people tho, it seems to pull coconut forward the most. So sad this doesn’t work for me! It’s really pretty. Glad I could gift it to someone who really likes it and it smells as the notes describe.
