Green Woods

This is a VERY aptly named fragrance! This is a dry wood with dewy greens and a little bit of powder from the pepper. The pepper is a little out of place and it's interacting a little strangely with what I think is papyrus but it's pretty easy to look past. As it dries the wood fades and the green turns into something I can only really describe as raw. I can see a forest with moss hanging off the trees when I smell this.

"clean dirt," per my roommate. i kind of hated it on my skin at first– it smells like clean vegetables or maybe fresh radishes? the pepper note is very noticeable. what i imagine the skin of a vegetable person would smell like.

i'll finish my sample, but i wouldn't buy a bottle of this. definitely interesting!

Coconut, spicy, aquatic- in that order

08/21/25 - I wish I had more thoroughly read the reviews on Fragrantica as the listed notes don’t seem to account for one of the (seemingly) less common user experiences. Unfortunately, Parfumo doesn’t have as large of a user base. Therefore, less reviews to reference. I really don’t like coconut in fragrances (any hint of it makes me nauseous, unfortunately), and this, for me, seems to be predominantly coconut scented.

I love spicy scents and this definitely fits that profile. There’s also some background aquatic notes that I wish were more forward in the scent. When I sniffed it from the tip of the atomizer on opening my package, I was really hopeful about the aquatic scents coming through. It was (briefly, for me) really light, refreshing, white floral type of aquatic in profile. I let it cool down for a few hours, went for my test strip spray, and all I could smell was coconut predominately. Couldn’t even test it on my skin bc it made me nauseous after it developed on the strip for a few hours.

I’m going to give it a few weeks and re-test it. I hope that coconut facet isn’t as predominant for me by then. Funnily enough, the first few minutes after spraying, I didn’t entirely hate the coconut parts of this. That never happens for me. Most of the time, that’s a hard no as a scent. I was shocked that it kind of smelled like a young/green coconut instead of a creamy, developed coconut. I think I could have tolerated it if it stayed that way. The longer it developed, the more creamy, summer, classic coconut it became.

Like the title says, it’s predominantly coconut, spicy, and aquatic. From most predominant to least, imo. I wanted to love it, it’s for someone, as it stands currently- I’m not that person.

Will come back in a few weeks/months to see if it has changed in a way I (hopefully) like.

09/10- After letting the bottle sit for a few more weeks, on paper I can absolutely smell the notes intended and they’re stunning. Unfortunately, my skin chemistry does bring out that coconut note ): It’s so pretty, peppery, floral, and aquatic on paper and on others. On some people tho, it seems to pull coconut forward the most. So sad this doesn’t work for me! It’s really pretty. Glad I could gift it to someone who really likes it and it smells as the notes describe.

A Calone Hater’s Nightmare

My cousin got a bottle of this as part of a cosmetics subscription box and passed it along to me saying, “I hate it. Maybe you’ll like it though.” Nope.

None of the listed notes stand out as particularly egregious, but in combination they become a screechy, artificial melon hairspray accord, with a bit of synthetic saltiness in the drydown.

I don’t detect flowers or woods, just straight up calone and ambroxan, amplified to a nauseating degree.

Where the forest meets the sea

I sprayed this on both paper and my skin. On paper, the scent went from good to bad really quickly. Thankfully on my skin it was a diffrent experience. Green and aquatic first, but quickly the bergamont and pepper took over and it smelled too citrusy (for my taste) on my skin. Citrus and peppper with green salt water in the end.
