Top notch sandalwood
Really like this. The sandalwood is smooth, consistent, and resonant. While there's a lot of notes out in the world I like better than sandalwood, it is kind of its own lane, and this is a great option if you want something clearly in this genre. My only small gripe is that a sour note came out eventually, and it's gotta be the musk. This is my first fragrance with musk involved, so I guess I just don't like musk. That said, it's not necessarily in conflict with the sandalwood; it's not like they're butting heads, so it does add a "twist" to the overall scent, creating some depth. It's also only like 15% of the overall smell, with the awesome sandalwood the other 85%. Projection and longevity on me was moderate (half-day), which given my low blood circulation, means it'd probably be better on most people. Highly recommend people try this. Reasonable price too. I'm not looking to have a huge cabinet of fragrances, just a "best of the best" for specific uses and niches . . . I might get this as my sandalwood representative.
