Florals and black tea
I've been looking for black tea scents lately, and this one seemed promising, with notes of lemon, musk, lotus, and cashmere wood. Initial spray was heavily floral, but the lemon and tea made themselves known after dry down.
For me, the issue is that I'm largely a tea purist. No milk, no honey, no sweetener, rarely any lemon. I prefer a strong black tea, and that tendency carries to my fragrance choices as well. The floral notes fight for dominance over the tea, and it makes the tea turn sour, rather than bitter. The lemon doesn't help the sourness. It all feels quite discordant, not the soothing but bracing sensation I look for in a tea scent.
It's possible someone whose tea choices are more floral or encompassing might find this pleasant. The question is really whether an ideal experience makes tea the centerpiece, or if tea is merely part of a more complex ritual for relaxation and reflection. If your desire is to have a pinch of tea along with other strong notes, this might become a favorite.
