What a fragrance.
Today, the package with this unusual scent finally arrived at my place. Full of anticipation and curiosity, I opened the package and there lay this, in my opinion, beautiful and noble bottle. My hands were almost trembling; I absolutely wanted to spray it. I have never smelled the fragrances of Annick Goutal before; unfortunately, such scents are not available where I live. Le Muguet is therefore my first encounter with the fragrances of Madame Goutal.
So here we go, the first spray. At first, I thought, "No, this is not for me. Not my taste at all." It smelled predominantly of lily of the valley and quite strong. After a few minutes, it became a bit woodier and the scent warmer. I've never smelled anything quite like it. After about ten minutes, the red berries joined in, and it became a little fruitier. I actually like this combination quite a bit.
I sprayed one on the back of my neck and one on my wrist. Then I went for a walk, and every time the wind blew, I could really smell a light but distinctly noticeable scent breeze. Over time, the fragrance becomes more beautiful and elegant. I imagine this is how the lovely, elegant ladies must have smelled in the past.
The scent is delicate, fresh, clean, elegant. I have been searching for a fragrance like this for a long time. The longevity is not bad either, around 6-7 hours. Then the scent becomes weaker, but you can still smell it clearly. So, my first encounter with the fragrances of Annick Goutal was a complete success, and I am already quite curious about which of her fragrances I will get to smell next.
