Close your eyes and imagine yourself sitting on the back garden patio of a shabby chic bistro in late spring. As you wait for your order, the air fills with the scent of powdery, sweet florals. You glance away from your phone and look to your right to see beautiful viburnum and heliotrope in full bloom, basking in the early June noonday sun.
The fragrance is lush, creamy, and buttery—a white floral profile abutted by powdery, sweet heliotrope. Imagine if almond butter had the texture of silky dairy butter, drizzled with a small touch of honey. Picture that spread over a piece of vanilla Bundt cake with a hint of lactonic white floral; that is exactly how this wears on me.
I really love this scent, especially how Erica incorporates local, foraged flora into her creations. If you haven't tried Henny Faire yet, you simply must!
