When I am interested in a fragrance, I approach this art with a kind of devotion. I want to understand not only the composition itself but also the story behind it. Who created this fragrance? What ideas and which house represent its signature?
It is precisely this transparency that, for me, defines the art of perfume. Information about the origin of a brand, about the responsible perfumer, about the perfume house, and the classification of the scents give me the opportunity to fully appreciate a work. Without this openness, a crucial part of understanding is missing, and thus also a piece of respect for the art form.
