Smooth sophisticated balsamic vanilla, airy yet substantial, maybe the Platonic ideal of a vanilla. Incredibly beautiful and incredibly overpriced. I promise you’ve smelled this before for far less cash, I certainly have. And also… sigh, I think I need a bottle. It’s damn good. If you were a devotee of the now-discontinued Whispers in The Library from Maison Margiela, consider sampling this. The treatment of vanilla here will bring back those memories.
