Gentle Sheer Sandalwood
This is a simple high quality Sandalwood with a bit of gentle white musk and a touch of soft hawthorn. It is very easy to wear, completely unisex and appropriate for day or night. I have a sample of the perfume oil concentration and I find it has low to moderate sillage, it is pretty much undetectable unless someone is within arms length and then, it is still so sheer that it could hardly offend anyone's nose. It is a scent I go back to when my nerves are frayed or I am thinking about sandalwood, but CdG's "Wonderwood" or pure Sandalwood oil seems too overwhelming and Keiko Mecheri's "Bois de Santal" seems too watery and underwhelming. No.23 is right in the middle there... simple sandalwood perfection. It's calming and yet at the same time a little bit alluring. A single dab last about 4-6 hours on my skin and it blends well with the Ava Luxe musks that I've tried such as "Loves True Bluish Light" and "Pearl Musk".
