The Kinam facet is strong in this one
Emperor Guan Yu from Jinkoh Store. A beautiful oil that has only one issue: the lack of complexity. However, the smell is so pristine, so beautiful that I can look past its flaws.
Hong Kong Sinensis Agarwood captured and unfolded in a single chord progression delivering powerful Yellow Kinam vibes throughout the wear. A strong and vivid Manuka Honey central chord, with a clean woody quality underneath, flanked by subtle green and almost cherry-like bursts, as well as some cinnamon in the opening. The green speckles make me think of bitter green tea and watermelon rind. It stays like that for many hours the only changing constant being the cherry red and green dots that pop in and out. The buzz and vibrancy are easily detectable here, no question about it. Colors go between golden, yellow, light brown, and green-red speckles.
