The Dry has something demanding about it, but it's not harsh enough for a complete dismissal...
You can definitely smell the synthetic notes, and I've encountered similar scents before, but for me, it's wearable and a solid cheapie.
The bottle matches the scent perfectly, feels good in the hand, and does what it's supposed to (like spraying well, for example).
