Woody belongs to a category of scents that I absolutely do not like. Such fragrances are warm, immediately embrace the skin, and bring at least 36.5 C with them.
Moreover, while this is supposed to be a woody scent by name, a warm, heated plum clearly dominates here. There are many plum fragrances, but they differ greatly, depending on whether they smell like freshly picked plums (which I like) or processed ones like plum jam, plum cake, compote, etc. (which I do not like at all).
Before I knew that plum was included here, I perceived the scent as a woody gourmand. Its unisex character is borderline, as it is rather warm and sweet, making it more suitable for women. Over time, the cedarwood might assert itself, and then it could potentially be worn by a younger man, but the warmth of the plum never completely disappears.
Edit: I recall that people who might like Black Orchid by Tom Ford might also find something to enjoy here...maybe...:-)
No, I find it more like ripe plummy from the tree, and it’s not simmered with so many spices as it seems with the Woody.. it’s like a syrupy, very dark plum puree.. yuck, I don’t even like that on bread.. *shudder*
