Bois Bois Bois...

I'm looking for a good time. So once sang the vocal wonder "Sabrina" voluminously.

Since this is my 3rd fragrance from the Lagerfeld "Bois" line, please forgive me this clumsy title.

I don't want to ramble on but get straight to the scent.

From every pore, Bois d'Ambre by Lagerfeld calls out "I'm not a dupe, get me out of here!"

This perfume has somehow never really come into the focus of the general public, and it probably still exists in thousands of flacons in some warehouses, where it doesn't belong, but rather in your perfume shelves.
This explains the absurdly low price. Because here you get a quality that you would otherwise have to search for with a magnifying glass in this price range.

The similarities to D&G's "The One" EdP are definitely there, yet the little Lagerfeld has enough individuality to not be considered a dupe.

Mature, very sweet fruits give this fragrance the certain twist that distinguishes it from The One.
It's also not the case that these notes are only recognizable in the top notes. They are indeed present almost until the end (after about 7-8 hours).

If I had to create a punchline for the fragrance, it would be: Playful in the office!

Bois d'Ambre is clean, neat, and unexcited but offers a certain kick of playfulness that keeps it from being boring.

I see it as suitable for year-round wear, although I would skip the few hot days we occasionally have in Germany. For temperatures around 32° and above, it is a bit too sweet.

Bright woods dominate the second half of the scent's development. But not much more happens. These two phases of the fragrance are more than enough for me. They are simply beautiful and transition harmoniously into one another.

Of course, a certain synthetic quality cannot be denied here, but it doesn't always have to be bad. In this regard, I can give the all-clear.

The perfume is versatile in any case. As mentioned, it has already proven itself well in the office and also skillfully showcases its strengths for going out.

The sillage is indeed perfectly chosen at this point between "where are you" & "too much," so nearly perfect. The scent could only annoy notorious plum haters.

Thus, my little fingers shouldn't slip out more than this writing here.

I hope I was able to provide a reasonable insight into the fragrance.

My tip: Grab it while it's still available. The price is hot!
A mere 20 euros for the very beautiful and high-quality 100 ml flacon.
The quality is top-notch, you can tell that from the first sniff.
