A cool breeze blows in an otherwise sun-warmed environment - and it feels good! It comes directly from the forest and carries its herbaceous-green scents. I sit on a bench at the edge of the forest, refreshing myself with a bottle of homemade, real lemonade. With a good book on my lap, not just focused on the text, my gaze wanders everywhere.
Behind the bench, a thick tuft of herb-scented grasses - bright and slightly earthy at the same time. A bit deeper in the forest, moss-covered trunks. Delicately carved silver-green tendrils of oak moss hang down from branches and twigs..
In the clearing before me, lush green herbs grow, exuding a fresh, herbaceous-minty scent, along with some wild roses, whose delicate fragrance wafts over to me from time to time. Otherwise, the woody-aromatic scents of pines, cedars, and firs prevail. In the midst of it all, a small grove of birches. The white bark releases lightly peppery-scented resins with a delicate vanilla note.
Moisture from the last rain has settled as tiny droplets on everything.
Hearty and wonderfully herb-sweet, a sunny autumn day greets.
