The Plebs Will Enjoy It
Many of you think that where "Amouage" is written, genius is inside. These are the same people who don’t understand that Roncadin supplies both Landliebe and Aldi Nord with vanilla ice cream. Best ingredients at drastically different prices, to satisfy the hierarchical pseudo-superiority of the supposed upper class. What is the result? Good products receive bad reviews because people prefer to adorn themselves with the emperor's new clothes, without realizing that they are becoming the absolute village fool.
Porto Bello is one of the perfumes that has particularly positively surprised me this year. Seen at Kaufhof, immediately impressed by the appealing packaging, I sprayed this scent as one of the first from this house. Frankincense is particularly appealing to me; it works well with my skin, and I find it special, different, unconventional. Porto Bello starts with a warm-spicy frankincense-vanilla blend; it has almost a gourmand quality. The orange that comes in is subtle; I rather perceive a certain sweetness that also does not overshadow the frankincense. I really like that because the scent reminds me of a slightly sweeter Black Cashmere by Donna Karan, which has unfortunately been discontinued. So I float with Porto Bello on clouds I thought were lost. Most likely, people associate Sardinia with the term; amusingly, there is also a neighborhood in Dublin called Portobello, and I must say, Ireland is not only closer to me than Italy, but I also perceive the scent as very Irish, wild at heart and ruggedly charming. By the way, the perfume lasts as long as an Irish night in the pub with a stormy, powerful sillage. While you continue to embellish toilet paper with Amouage, I enjoy my elegant bargain - I bet I smell better than you.

Zu dem Duft: Riecht gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super. Es fehlt mir jedoch das besondere, das man öfter - aber bei Leibe nicht immer - im hochpreisigen Segment finden kann, als im günstigeren.
