Very nice words from you. Sounds rather unusual for Maurice, but very interesting.

Le Frag doesn't list its 'noses' on the website, which I find a bit of a disadvantage too.

I hope Maurice continues on this individual path; there's much more potential there than just these pleasing baselines...

Absolutely atypical! The perfumer was added much later, which really confused me at first.

Your writing on Yata's sample. It's as gnarled as it is beautiful. For me, just landmass... without the sea.

It's not a pleasant scent. Still, it resonates with me.

When I hear "smoky-aquatic," I immediately perk up. I can't help but think of Filippo Sorcinelli. I don't know the brand Le Frag, but there are definitely a few that could interest me. Nice state!

The brand fascinated me right away :) It's not easy to digest, but it's anything but ordinary. And I really appreciate that.

# The myth of Melusine includes the idea that there are certain aspects of people's lives that cannot be shared with others #
Meluzyna is a difficult/controversial/translucent scent. My first thought was its similarity to Sea Angel (Meluzyna is more perforated, less overwhelming).
Smoke, algae, and pine/tip of the fir set the tone.
It feels like a day at the misty sea, where the water is never completely clean.
There's something melancholic/surreal that reminds me of the canals of Venice.
Wrapped in smoke/ash/fog.
Also like the view from the top of a mountain on a not-so-clear day.
As for the smoky notes - on me, there's a hint of shiny/leathery scale shimmer, akin to a smoked mackerel :) Shell limestone or a long-extinguished campfire on the beach. Spicy streaks of nutmeg/sage/mint chords ground this wistful scent whale echo sounder (intentionally uneven, never pleasing :) good so.

Interesting topic, but when it comes to the canals of Venice, I prefer to be a spectator rather than a participant.
