Bohemian Absinthe Les Sœurs de Noé 2019

At first, I smell light smoke and strong eucalyptus, which clears my nose when I sniff close to the skin. I don't smell apple blossom. After about 20 minutes, the woody notes come through, and the eucalyptus takes a backseat. The woods combined with the vetiver create a quite nice, slightly smoky blend. The scent remains like this and changes hardly at all, if at all. After 30 minutes, I can no longer smell the eucalyptus. Only when I sniff close to the skin does it still tingle a bit in my nose. Quite nice, but it's too boring for me. It leans more towards the masculine side. I'd rather go for Mr. Vetiver by une nuit nomade, which is much more exciting and complex. But it's all a matter of taste.
