Little model with algae in her hair
rubs herself with clary sage,
adorns herself with flowers and thinks,
she smells nice now.
Nope...

Exactly! .. that note with the unwashed hair (broom cat, or Costus) thankfully doesn't last long..
Overall, still wearable for me in high summer temperatures.

For you, Sirenis is in the solid middle range 😊

A sample is more than enough; after that, you’ve had your fill of the scent. 🙊 At that price, it’s probably only for true fans. 😆 @Seejungfrau

You really hit the mark with this topic. 😄 I believe my previous 4.5 rating would drop quite a bit after a thorough test. I set the sample aside pretty quickly back then. It's amazing what you could spend an incredible €120/100ml on. 🙈 @GreenIvy

@Seejungfrau but only because it fits the name, and I'm sure the scent was intended to be that way. Otherwise, I would have rated it much lower.

@Axiomatic I smelled something rotten, but no jasmine, just vague flowers. 🤔 I suspected the gorse, it doesn’t smell great in the garden either. 😅

"Now there's also a musty, rotten, and algae-like smell added to it."
For me, that's all I get, and I'm using H/S 10.
But I'm glad you could still give it a 6 and didn't need a medic :) Cheers!

@Käse Luckily, I read Axiomatic's statement yesterday; maybe I would have used more than just one spray like I usually do. 😆 No idea how it would smell then, and I don't even want to test it.

Thanks for the test, @Käse, and the heads-up about the dosage! A strong spray on the wrist is enough, and my husband can still smell it from the next room. He says it doesn't smell too bad from a distance. Unfortunately, I can't judge that since I've been surrounded by this scent for almost four hours. I specifically started testing it on an empty stomach. Luckily, I haven't felt nauseous, thanks to the dosage.
The top notes are really nice: aquatic, slightly citrusy, and the clary sage. The heart notes are floral and a bit sweet. The base notes don't take long to show up either. The sage and the aquatic note stay with the flowers and the sweet note until the end, but now there's also a musty, rotten, and seaweed-like smell coming through.
I think it's fitting for the name! Hats off! Just not wearable for me!
If anyone wants to test it, feel free to message me.
