Keep forgetting how good this smells! This oil is definitely worth trying.
Mothman is one of the first scents that I've tested from Little and Grim, and it really boosted my intrigue in the house. It is definitely one of their best creations.
This character starts off with a hint of booze (apparently rum), combined with some sort of berries, and some tea. The ginger is present, but it is pretty well blended with some of the other notes listed to the point where it's not really a standalone entity.
Although incense is not listed within the official notes, I do get a slight incensey and spicy scent, which likely comes from the clove. Once again this is very well blended and creates an interesting, and warm mass.
I'd say the rum is the most standout note, but it's so warm and great; reminds me of why I love Little and Grim so much. The hay adds some slight dry grassiness, but it's not stinky or anything. This is a very relaxing and dark scent.
To me this is also closely tied to Crow Mother, and the two would layer great.
If one is interested in this house, definitely include this in your sample batch!
