Van Py Rhum Lorenzo Pazzaglia

I bought a sample of this and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m quite picky when it comes to vanilla scents, and when i first put this on I wasn’t a big fan, but once it dried down I was mesmerized. It goes on a bit sickeningly sweet; that kind of vanilla that reminds you of a cupcake, but it deepened once it dried down, and the scent became more complex. The patchouli and rum started showing up and it went from an artificial, sugary vanilla to a deep, gourmand vanilla-patchouli combo. I could not stop smelling it once I had it on, and the silage isn’t insane but it’s still really good I’d say. It kind of reminded me of the old formula of Angel by Mugler, which brought back so many memories. I’ve tried a couple of niche perfumes so far and the longevity on them aren’t the best, but this one lasts a long time, which I really appreciate. I’m a huge sucker for vampires and all things gothic, and I’ve been on the hunt for a good vampire-esque perfume, while it could be a bit more gothic, I think this is a great contender, and I’m definitely considering buying the full bottle.
