I see it the same way! And they call this a Chypre? No way.

Yes, maybe too much musty amber.

In an emergency, I would even give it a try.

Many artisan interpretations of chypre and fougère just miss the mark.

Yes, definitely a mix of spices and amber.

Oh, what a pity! I would have expected more from it just based on the notes.

Thanks for the warning, as I always get a bit anxious with Chypre...

I'm out when it comes to sharp, piercing freshness, no matter what comes next.

Aside from the vegetable broth, it reads very well!
(It's not a big deal if it's mislabelled 😉)

Vegetable broth has no place in perfume.

They really think we don't notice when they randomly label it as Chypre.

In a real Chypre, Oud doesn't belong at all.

I would say there are so many nicer chypre fragrances that I wouldn't want to struggle through vegetable broth.

I see it the same way. The base is nice, but still not a Chypre. The previous one was a real challenge.

The scent has two faces like a chimera.
It doesn't start off nicely. It's sharply piercing with a strange vegetable aroma from spices and a distinct brown amber. The flowers come across as undefinable.
As it develops, it becomes more pleasant and shows a different side. Before, it felt rather unfinished and vague. It has brown and green nuances. The oud from Thailand and the violet leaf add fresh green accents in the base.
Starting at 5.5 and the base at 7.5 gives an overall score of 6.5.
Thanks to Matze8338 for the testing opportunity.

The base is green-woody and subtle. But you have to push through first.

This vegetable aroma from spices and too much amber was unharmonious.

At first, it showed its unpleasant side, but the late base is finer.

The progression is definitely more harmonious and the ouds are more prominent. However, I really didn't like the previous one.

Rating trend clearly downwards. The natural ingredients earned some points. Not well crafted.
