Quite well done but ultimately nothing special

Many thanks to my best friend Agron for the sample of Saint-Michel :-) I find this scent not bad as an everyday fragrance. However, I think it's a bit too expensive for what it offers, as nothing particularly special is delivered in my opinion. The longevity on my skin is actually good at around 10 hours, but it becomes very close to the skin after just a few hours. Accordingly, I find the sillage to be rather mediocre.

To be honest, I have little use for the fragrance pyramid, as it smells quite different to me. The top note starts off sweet and gourmand but also synthetic. I detect caramel with a hint of nutmeg and cardamom. The heart note remains sweet with a festive and oriental touch. The base offers a creaminess with woody accents. Here, sandalwood, tonka beans, and bourbon vanilla could be mentioned.

In the end, I am more puzzled than satisfied. I almost tend to say: Boring... But it’s not a bad fragrance... So overall, it’s just okay...

Well, that wasn't great, but there are plenty of other scents that will be more enjoyable. 😉
