Somehow neither here nor there, but above all nothing lasting...

The scent starts off very fresh and sweet-spicy, somehow reminiscent of... yes, that's right: gingerbread and speculoos cookies. At least for the first two minutes. Until thyme overpowers cardamom and takes control. The scent strongly resembles inhaling thyme. It’s like holding your head over a bowl of natural thyme oils and the warm steam enters your nose. That’s how it smells for the first half hour until the heart note sets in and the woodiness emerges. The heart note is slightly woody and green.

Not much else happens here. After just one hour, the scent is only perceivable close to the skin. By close to the skin, I mean you have to put your nose on the skin to smell anything at all.

In my opinion, one could invest the money (price €195) in another fragrance that is not as flat, boring, and short-lived as this one. It’s simply neither here nor there, but above all nothing lasting.
