An inexpensive serviceable citrus woody fragrance.
Majouri is a brand that is being discounted heavily these days. Think of it as discount-rack Essential Parfums! But there is value to be had if you find one you like. For me, Oriental Soul from them is good value for $40 on Jomashop.
Blue Desert is an inexpensive serviceable woody citrus perfume. You can get it at the discounters for under $50. The official notes listed on the sample card are bergamot, mandarin, pineapple, neroli, cypress, orris, sandalwood, guaiac wood and cistus. In practice, Blue Desert is anchored by the first two notes, and everything else is an afterthought. But you can smell the woody notes in the end. It is surprisingly long-lived for a citrus scent. This is a nice perfume that you should not discount merely because it is cheap.
I will pass on this one, because there is a sour note here that I don't like in my citrus scents. Fortunately, Majouri makes so many citrus-white floral scents that are indistinguishable from each other. I will pick something else that is equally cheap, perhaps Noor Neroli or The One and Only.
