Chocolate Orchid is a strange one that I'm not sure if I really like or not. It opened with a very strong bitter sweet baking type chocolate making me feel like I should be in the kitchen baking cookies or something. After a few minutes the sweet orchid comes thru and the chocolate mellows making it much more likeable in my opinion. The chocolate stays semi sweet and surprisingly I find I like the combination of it with the orchid. This stays just above skin level and lasts a few hours staying pretty linear.
I find it not overly childish or overly sweet. It is not complex but is an interesting scent that I can see me wearing casually. I'm not sure how it will wear in my California hot hot summer, but I am enjoying it in our mild winter. It is gourmand but more cooking than eating type.
