As a happy winner of this fragrance sample, I will now also write a little review...
Upon spraying, I am immediately greeted by a sweet, slightly metallic saffron note accompanied by balsamic benzoin, which I really like. The vanilla quickly steals the show, and the iris butter adds more depth. This makes the scent a bit heavier and buttery-vanilla.
Rose and incense join in and lighten the heaviness. Over time, the fragrance becomes brighter and a bit fresher with sandalwood and jasmine. Nevertheless, it remains a lovely warm and creamy saffron scent.
The longevity is moderate, and I would place the sillage in the lower middle range.
