Light melon rind
Cuir de Pastèque appears as a delicate, pleasantly unsweet watermelon - perhaps more the rind than the flesh. I get the impression of clean, slightly chilled water at the height of summer, with a few melon pieces and lime slices in it - just enough to make the water even more refreshing, but not enough to flavor it strongly.
Soon, however, the scent transforms and it becomes a gossamery, skin-hugging fragrance that I can hardly describe better than "water-and-bright-musk skin scent". It's really very light, but pleasant.
